Home Sweet Home

Life has been busy lately.
I have been spending time with Baby Link.
Enjoying the new android Instagram. Finally....
And Moving.

It's the worst.
THE WORST.

But we found an amazing place.
It is huge, and not just silicon valley huge.
It was built in the 1920's, is 2 story, has hardwood floors, is probably haunted,
And it is really really awesome.
As soon as we are done unpacking, I will post some pics,
but until then, here are some of my favorite 1920's quirks.


Awesome hardwood detailing. 
Ignore the 100 year old scratches....


The bathroom window looks out into the hallway.


Just a little kitchen nook


Dark wood molding everywhere, and TONS of unnecessary doors.


The door knobs to all of our unnecessary doors, closets, and cupboards all predate Anthropologie...


Probably my favorite part.
This is the door bell.
It rings in the kitchen, and another rings in the dining room.


A million weird little cabinets


These are push button light switches. So fun.


So far, Matt and I have been married for 3 years, and this is our 4th move.
BOOOOOO
Hopefully we will be here for a while.
I really love it.

    Double boo for moving. But, wow, what a grand place! This reminds me of the first farm house Ryan and I lived in when we were newly weds; you're right-those door knobs are what Anthro wishes they were. And I also totally hear you on the moving 1 million times thing. Never fun. Except for the newness of a new place--that's kind of fun. Hope you're settled in now and enjoying that marvelous place!

    I can totally relate, C & I hsvr brrn married for almost 7 years and have moved 5 times and we even lived in one spot for 3 years. Moving your life stinks. Packing your stuff not fun. But I love decorating a new space and getting to experience what that area has to offer.
